Pupae available now in 2 male, 1 female, trio groups. Imperialis is a large moth with a yellow ground colour suffused with heavy markings of pinkish rust and darker mottling. The very impressive, long haired larvae exist in two forms: brown and green and are highly polyphagous. Commonly used foodplants in captivity include: Oaks; Sweet Gum (Liquidamber); Privet; Maples; Hawthorn; Willow and Elm, although many more are accepted. Pupae of this species are very difficult to obtain and this is a rare opportunity to breed this unusual and fascinating species.
