The larvae emerge from tiny, white ova and do very well on buckthorn and ceanothus in warm, dry conditions. An unusual and less well know species that is certainly worth breeding.
Larval foodplants: ceanothus; buckthorn (rhamnacae).
Rearing: plastic boxes; cages.
Photographs: female at rest.
