Currently unavailable. A rarely offered species with a 70-100 mm wingspan which flies in the higher ranges of Arizona and down into New Mexico. In the wild the larvae are said to prefer native species of oak, and we have reared them very successfully on english oak. They may also take varieties of ceanothus and salix ssp. An unusual species for those looking for something a little bit different.
Larval foodplants: oak (quercus).
Rearing: plastic boxes and cages.
