Currently unavailable. The southern atlas moth is a beautiful grey and white saturniid with oval windows on the hindwings. Native to Africa, females deposit their eggs on local species of ziziphus, however ceanothus has been successfully utilised to rear this species in captivity and further experimentation may prove fruitful. Final instar larvae display a pale green ground colour adorned with red tubercles that are tipped with blue towards the head. Difficult to obtain and highly recommended.
