Butterflies are bought for education, photography and release, scientific research or simply the sheer joy of rearing them. Every year we breed a selection of vannesids and papilios from around the world, with other species available via third party breeders.
If you are a beginner, please go to our Schools and Beginners' section for a brief introduction to caring for butterflies and to see recommended species.
The Information Section contains a selection of the most widely used texts relating to the captive breeding of butterflies and this is well worth a look for beginners and for that matter those with more experience.
